Pakistan Govt Increases Petrol Prices by Rs30 Suddenly Announced the government has implemented a thirty rupee hike on the price of gasoline. Suddenly Announced by the Government of Pakistan Following the announcement made by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Miftah Ismail.
The updated pricing will become effective on Friday, May 27. Miftah announced during his speech at a news conference that there would be a rise in the price of gasoline beginning today.

According to the Minister of Finance, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made this challenging decision to serve the best interests of the country’s economy as a whole.
He stated that it is a difficult decision for the government to place such a load on the general public and that this is one of the reasons why. The Minister of Finance indicated that the decision was to resurrect the $6 billion rescue program that the International Monetary Fund offered.
Because of this decision, both the economy and the general public’s lives will be affected. This marks the New Government of Pakistan’s first difficult decision since taking office. Before the previous administration, gasoline prices were capped and did not go up during the preceding months.
