Summer Vacation in Punjab Schools and Colleges due to the weather, schools, and colleges in Punjab have decided against taking an early summer break. The students of the Punjab School Education Department and the Higher Education Department were hoping to get an early summer break, but Punjab does not have early summer breaks.
Even though the heatwave is at its worst in some parts of Punjab because of the rain, the weather conditions are rather typical, which means there are no opportunities for early summer vacations in Punjab. It was said that the summer holidays in Punjab would begin on May 25, 2022, although there has been no official statement about this matter.
The Chief Secretary of Punjab has made it official that there will not be any early summer holidays, but he has advised that all students and staff take precautions to deal with the heatwave that has been occurring.
Both the SED School Education Department and the HED Higher Education Department of Punjab agree that there shouldn’t be any early summer vacations in the state of Punjab.
School-Based Assessments Take Place in Schools The SBA Examinations are almost over, and the Final Results will be revealed on May 31, 2022, for all schools in Punjab. After that, on June 1, 2022, students will be able to begin their summer holidays. After a break of two months for the summer, the new academic session 2022-2023 will start on August 1, 2022. This will follow two months for the summer.
However, it is possible that due to the terrible conditions, the Chief Minister of Punjab will take note, and early summer holidays will be issued; however, these are slim chances as the weather has been quite usual.
The Matric 9th and 10th examinations are also currently being conducted, and the paper leak out percentage is getting worse due to the Punjab government’s decision to remove the Chairman and Controller of BISE Rawalpindi as a result of the institute’s poor performance.
